Annet Mahendru

Mahendru, a Russian-Indian mother was born in Afghanistan. Mahendru speaks fluent German Russian, English as well as French Persian and Hindi. Her parents are Russian as well as Indian. The choreographed show she performed at age 11 that aired on German television, turned her into the Russian dancer and snow maiden. She graduated from high school with a bachelor's diploma from the Department of English at the University of New York. She studied comedy and improvisation at Groundlings School after leaving HB Studio. She was born to an Afghani Hindu Indian mother and a Russian father, who lived in Kabul in Afghanistan. At the age of 13, parents separated. Her father moved the family to East Meadow New York. She is best known as the former KGB agent Nina Sergeevna Krilova in FX's The Americans.
