April Lockhart born 4 July 1995. She began piano and guitar lessons in the 7th grade, which ignited the interest of her. When she was in seventh grade she began to take guitar and piano classes. It sparked her interest in songwriting. When she was 14, April spent much time writing lyrics and perfecting her musical skills. After that, she started taking trips to write with her father, who lived in NY and LA. April was also able to add other themes in the tune "Take My Hand" to help her friends who dealt with concerns like peer pressure issues, or even teens who committed suicide. Lockhart is an influencer in the beauty and lifestyle industry with an ever-growing number of followers. She works with popular brand Ilia together, and is also an expert in the field of lifestyle. Born without a left hand, the woman is an important part of herself. However, it's not her entire story. The profile of Lockhart on Twitter does not shy away from her status as disabled and does not make a point of it. It's a message. That we all contain multitudes and that we are all unique and we're beyond our physical bodies. Lockhart tells Lockhart in a video interview "I do not believe that disability should define me. It's not my intention to be an influencer on disabilities because I've got so much more to offer." It doesn't impact my daily activities. I go about doing my job as normal and have come up with my own methods to adjust. It's a big part of my life, therefore it's important to discuss the subject.
