Amy Lou Adams Amy Lou Adams born on 20th August 1974, Aviano Italy American actress. She is renowned for her critically-acclaimed portrayals of charming, innocent people. Adams was born and lived in Castle Rock Colorado, as one of the seven kids who was her smallest. Her father was serving in U.S. service in Italy. Adams began performing and dancing professionally around the middle of the 1990s, with Boulder Dinner Theatre, and after that, at the Country Dinner Playhouse. In the following year in Minnesota and at a local theater, she was cast as a character in an unrealized documentary film about beauty contests called Drop Dead Gorgeous. She moved to Los Angeles after making her debut as a good-natured but snarky contestant. She was married to Tony Curtis was her partner from June 1950 until September 1992. Her children included, Kelly Curtis as well as Jamie Lee Curtis. Leigh was discovered via actress Norma Shearer Leigh signed a contract with MGM to begin her film career actress in the mid 1940s. She starred as Norma in several popular films throughout time, including Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho from 1960 and Living It Up, a Martin and Lewis film released in 1954.
