Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25 of 1970) is an American actress who is best recognized for her role as the role of detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama CSI: NY, Dr. Sydney Hansen and Lane Hunter and Dr. Sydney Hansen on NBC's Providence drama as well as The Resident's medical drama The Resident. She also received high praise for her first television performance as a character on Guiding Light on CBS as Eleni Cooper. 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians The Lightning Thief and Snitch are among her most notable movie roles. The Wheel of Life, written by Elisabeth Kubler Ross and adapted into a feature film by Vlas Parlapanides (the team who invented The Immortals) is believed to be in production. She is also filming for the upcoming show Gods & Heroes.
